To enjoy and prepare for your visit to Canada, please ensure that you checked the latest entry requirements well ahead of the planned travel.

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

Most foreign nationals need a temporary resident visa (TRV) or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to travel to Canada. Please note that PPS 2025 is a registered event with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Once you Register for PPS 2025, please contact us (pps2025@uoguelph.ca) if you need an Invitation Letter to apply for your travel document to enter Canada or a Special Event Code. Please apply early.
